Beautiful Life After 60!

To all my female friends who are close to 60 years of "age''or older.. Most of us are going through the next stage of our lives. We are at that age where we see the wrinkles, grey hair, extra pounds. Menopause has already showed up or justing around the corner. We see the pretty 20-year olds and sigh. But, we were 20, too, just like they will one day be our age. What they bring to the table with their youth and zest for life, we bring with our wisdom, experience and good hearts. For all we've been through earning each grey hair... raising kids, bills and ills and whatever else life throws at us, we are survivors... we are warriors... we are women. Like a classic car or fine wine. While our exterior may not be what it once was, it is traded for our spirit, our courage and our strength to enter this chapter of our lives with grace and pride for all we've been through and accomplished. Never feel bad about getting older. It is a privilege denied to many. 💕60years old still blessed!

Happy 4th of July

I wish all of my friends and family a happy 4th of July. To me this really feels like the first day of summer. Most people take this time for their vacation, all schools are officially out for season and every day one must spend the time trying to keep cool.

Also, what  I love is that my garden is in full bloom.

                                                                         All is well!

A Loss of a Child!

Losing a child is a mother's worst nightmare!
I have always heard that saying and hoped I would never have to feel it.
I am now in mourning for the loss of my granddaughter, Jazmine Barada Tucker, 29 years of age.

She was the oldest daughter of my daughter, Gloria M Barada.

Jazmine was raised by my sister, Elizabeth Tucker in Boston,
She leaves behind a young son who will be cared for by his father.
She also leaves behind her only sister Jayla Barada Tucker.

It is a sad time for the Tucker and Barada family.
May she rest in peace with the Lord and may our family grow closer together in strength.

Just Live and Enjoy Today!

After I turned 50 years of age, I had decided I was going to live each day as if it was my last. I will do all the thing I had only dreamed about. I was going to live, love and have fun. Life is to short to worry about tomorrow, just live and enjoy today! "Come on this life journey with me and experience the thrill" Lady Estelle T. Barada
