The New Me!

What I should say is the old me.

I did not want to relax my hair, so I had extension braided in the natural hair for the LAST 10 YEARS.

Well today, I finally cut all the extensions out and have gone all natural.
I love it. I love showing that I am all naturally gray .

January Snow Storm in Providence, RI

This is the big Rhode Island Snow Storm. 1.12.11.
I had to sleep over last night, in the hotel, so I would be there today to work ,it needed. It was a big one, but not enough to panic and keep all staff on deck. So,I came home today.
A view from the Providence Marriott Hotel window. Watch for the guy in his shorts.
What was he thinking. I guess he was not thinking at all!

Precious Moments!

The precious moments with your children are the most important times in your life. Make the time to enjoy them.

The young ones grow so fast. And before you know it , they are all grown up and go to live their lives on their own. Spend time looking at them , enjoying their innocence,

Share in their silliness, let them bring out the kid that is still in you. Let's them teach you how to play and enjoy life's little pleasures

Time is short and I goes by so fast.

.This is life and it is so Precious!

My New Year Kiss!

Why do we all kiss each other at the stroke of 12? Where did that come from?
Well after some research, here is what I found!
In some cultures, there is a tradition of kissing someone at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. When the clock strikes twelve couples embrace for a kiss to celebrate the upcoming year. Some hold the superstition that failing to kiss someone when the ball drops ensures a year of loneliness. Whether this is true or not, most people kiss their significant other in joyous celebration of the beginning of a new year.
When celebrating at a Scottish Hogmanay party, it is custom to try and give a kiss to everyone in the room after the stroke of midnight "the bells".

Welcome 2011!

I never make a New Year Resolution, but I am going to make one this year. It will be to take more time for myself. I am not saying that I am going to be selfish, but to not put myself on the back burner, like I have been doing. I really enjoy caring for me family, giving my all to my job, volunteering all my spare time to Hearthside and time at daily monitoring my websites and blogs. Somewhere in all of this, I have not spent any time to self improvement. My spiritual health is in need of repair. My physical health need a lot of attention.
After saying all that!
Happy New Year to all my readers and friends and keep healthy in 2011!
