This trip was a childhood dream to go to London and visit the Queen. I did not see her but felt her presence. I lived my dream.
Having a good old fashion English breakfast!
Watching the New England Patriot game and having a pint of ale in the UK. How cool is that?
My travel partner, Sue Adams and I in London!
Having my portrait done in the Square in London — in London,United Kingdom.
My sister sent me these old photos of my younger days. My birthday is coming up on Wednesday, June 26th and I will be 67 years young. Boy has time flew.
To
all my female friends who are close to 60 years of "age''or older..
Most of us are going through the next stage of our lives. We are at that
age where we see the wrinkles, grey hair, extra pounds. Menopause has
already showed up or justing around the corner. We see the pretty
20-year olds and sigh. But, we were 20, too, just like they will one day
be our age. What they bring to the table with their
youth and zest for life, we bring with our wisdom, experience and good
hearts. For all we've been through earning each grey hair... raising
kids, bills and ills and whatever else life throws at us, we are
survivors... we are warriors... we are women. Like a classic car or fine
wine. While our exterior may not be what it once was, it is traded for
our spirit, our courage and our strength to enter this chapter of our
lives with grace and pride for all we've been through and accomplished.
Never feel bad about getting older. It is a privilege denied to many. 💕60years old still blessed!
If you’ve ever worn a head wrap and felt incredible while wearing it, you know exactly the feeling I’m talking about.
I wanted to explore who I was and how I could create my truest self.
This journey has involved travel, reflection, entrepreneurial-ism, self
care and creativity.
Join me on my new journey:
I wish all of my friends and family a happy 4th of July. To me this really feels like the first day of summer. Most people take this time for their vacation, all schools are officially out for season and every day one must spend the time trying to keep cool.
Also, what I love is that my garden is in full bloom.
All is well!
